The positioning of Taiwan's fasteners export

The international situation has been in a turbulent state since the beginning of 2023.
The invasion of Russia, tension between Asian Pacific countries, and now the outbreaking wars in the Middle East.
From a trading point of view, some new restrictions and sanctions were set in the past few months.
The EU sanction against Russia wire material, the Indian government's BIS limitation of imported fasteners products..etc, which also bring attention to the relation between Taiwan and China.

There are some interesting statistic about the fastener industry published by the Fastener World on September, 2023-
"Taiwan has a very close relationship with China . Over the past 30 years, Taiwan has invested more than USD200 billion in China, and more than 10,000 Taiwanese companies have set up factories in China. There are more than 100 Taiwanese fastener companies operating in China. According to Taiwan's Ministry of Finance, Taiwan's export in 2021 reached a record high of about USD 446.4 billion, of which 42%(US$187.4 billion) were exported to China, and the trade surplus for Taiwan was nearly US$60 billion, which shows a quite large China's economic contribution to Taiwan.

Taiwan's political ground, economic development and social security are very stable.

For the past 3 years this had never been affected by war concern and COVID. Even in the past 20 years, Taiwan's fastener exports have shown a 20-degree upward trend line(see figure 1 & 2), which will only be subjected to the global economic climate, but not to political and war factors."
